The best job?

Planning for baby these days, my mind keeps going back to the one question most of us married women have hounded our minds with several times a day, several days a week.

Should I quit? Will we able to manage the finances after I do? Even though my salary may be less than half of DH, it still supplements our family income sufficiently.

All these questions and thoughts haunt me so often. DH has been very kind through this by the way. He said I got his support and that we’ll make it through. But then, I’m worried he doesn’t realize the magnanimity of the consequences. Or if he’s thought it through or not?

And as much as I dislike it, flexible jobs or even part-time ones are far and few. But I still wanna give it my best shot. Any ideas on how to go about it?

  1. If you can afford to stay home with the baby, do it. If you are worried about finances, maybe try to find a work at home job like freelance writing or medical transcription. Best of luck!
